Film Festival, Production Company, And New Projects

Back in August, I announced that me and the team I worked with had 3 film selected for the Show Low Film Festival.

We had the honor of premiering Looking In and Azteca Dietica. We also got to bring the Shady Oaks Takedown experience to the people of Show Low, Arizona. It was an insane experience, and probably the most fun I’ve ever had at a film festival. It was their first year as a film festival and we were honored to be able to represent 3 films their first year.

Show Low Film Festival

The team was able to pull in 3 awards from the festival. Looking In received the award for Best Suspense, Shady Oaks Takedown won Best Ensemble, and in a surprise turn of events, our Instagram account won for Best Social Presence.

On Monday, we announced that Shady Oaks Takedown will be released and available to the public on Nov. 1st.

Tequila Mockingbird Productions

We arrived on location not only as filmmakers, but as a production team. We are Tequila Mockingbird Productions. Last year, when the team decided to tackle the 48 Hour Film Project, we submitted our team name as Tequila Mockingbird, and the name has stuck. To our surprise, the name has been received extremely well.

As a result, I’ll be less active on my website, as I shift focus to continue work with Tequila Mockingbird Productions. Be sure to follow Tequila Mockingbird on all social media to keep updated with the latest projects.

New Projects

Things are looking up for Tequila Mockingbird Productions. We’re currently booked until December shooting various productions.

Today, we’re out and about shooting a music video for Nick Reeve. In November, we’ll be shooting a short film for Danielle DellaPorta, along with a web series later in the month.
